Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333 MHz (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory (CMV8GX3M2A1333C9)

It's not overclocking RAM, so I did not testing with overclocking, overvoltage or anything other than stock settings. It worked flawlessly in a P55 board with an i5 CPU all at stock settings. Not much to say other than it works perfect, no errors. You get quality RAM for a standard machine.

What can I say? 1.5v RAM, two 4GB modules, unobtrusive design. Respectable clock rates. I haven't overclocked or anything, but as basic computer RAM this is great. If you need 8GB and you want two sticks for Dual Channel performance advantages, this RAM is priced right and works well.

Corsair XMS3 16GB (4x 4GB) PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory Kit for AMD and Intel Dual Channel Processors CMX16GX3M4A1333C9

I bought this matched set of memory modules to max out the memory in my new XPS 8300 Dell computer. It was about $125 dollar less expensive to do it myself in this manner rather than have Dell do it. I was delighted to discover the high quality of this set compared to the new memory I pulled from the computer to install these. These have built in heat dissipation whereas the original memory was no frills added and rather flimsy by comparison. their smooth housing also made them more easy to handle than the original memory. Installation and booting up the computer with the new memory installed went without glitch. I put the original memory units in the nice protective packaging the new memory came with to keep it safe. Instructions were clear and easy to read. I would look for Corsair memory modules again if I need to upgrade another computer in the future.

Being a computer programmer, I have many computers & I've built many computers. Corsair is one brand I trust, especially for power supplies and memory. Right now, this memory is working great in my i5-2500K based server. 16GB is much more than I need in it, but it's so cheap I figured why not? And I trust Corsair's reliability. Paying more for faster memory doesn't really get you much in terms of practical performance increases. Should anything change then I will update this review.
